I'm currently on holidays, and have been taking lot of pictures. However I don't have much time to go through them yet so here is a shot I took few weeks ago in a snow storm.

2012 - In Pictures

It's time to look back of the year 2012. Lots of things happened. I managed to rumble to the Open Photo Contest Finals with two of my images and was featured in Yahoo and This Is Colossal-blog.

I see there was a cap in taking photos past year.. And that was because I was moving like hell the whole summer. I had no time to take pictures or anything really. I'm really pleased of what I could come up with so little amount of photo trips.

I hope to be more creative in the next year.

Blue Night

Another view from the same location as the previous photo.
It was rather cold to walk around there -21C, but it was so damn beautiful.

Moonlit

After driving 4 hours to a clear sky area I finally found a spot where the trees were lit by the moonlight and the frost made them look gorgeous.

It was a cold and beautiful night near Kuopio, Finland.

Winter has finally arrived here in Finland.
I just hope there will be many more clear sky nights ahead!

It's always fascinating to take long exposures on a seascape. It's the dreamy effect what I love about it. The sea looks calm and still, like there was no movement even if the sea was full of waves. And it's fun to go explore different perspectives.
